CommentCatcher is a mobile-responsive web app, accessible from customers’ internet-connected devices, via an address (URL) customized with your name. Business owners can remind and encourage them by offering an incentive for their participation.
CommentCatcher accounts are identified with a unique “clientID,” which is part of the internet address your customers use to access your CommentCatcher public site.
You choose your own easily-remembered clientID, a single word or phrase of no more than 20 characters, related to your business name.
In the example below, business name is shortened to make it more memorable for customers to recall. ClientID is not case-sensitive.
Fred’s Doughnut Shop would choose a clientID such as “Freds” or “Doughnuts,” producing a URL of Freds.CommentCatcher.com, or Doughnuts.CommentCatcher.com.
Public & Private Websites
Each CommentCatcher account includes both public and private websites. The public site is promoted to customers to solicit feedback, surveys, and job applications. The private site provides to access to responses, surveys, and applications.
The merchant’s public website features the business name and logo, and buttons:

- Leave comment/feedback
- Apply for a job

The public site home page may also show anonymized comments chosen by management for display, under the heading of “What customers are saying …”
The private website is accessed via login with email address and password, and presents the opportunity to:
- review comments & survey results,
- review job applications, and
- manage their account.
